A True Classic

Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" is a story about a Cuban fisherman on hard times, and his battle with a giant marlin in the Gulf Stream. It is a story of courage against overwhelming odds. It is one of Hemingway's most loved works. Written in 1952, this book won the Pulitzer Prize in 1953. Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1954. Take a look at this book, and let us know what you think.
